hearts Valentine's Day is coming up soon! Often, celebrating this holiday includes spending a lot of money on chocolates, flowers, and Valentine's Day cards. Not much can be done about the price of the candy and roses right now, but the cards are something you can save money on. Here are a few eCards that won't cost you anything at all to send to your Valentine.

Hallmark has two Valentine's Day animated eCards that you can send for FREE. One of them features their Hoops & YoYo characters, being their cute, yet obnoxious, selves. The other one plays the song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", and has an adorable cartoon bird who is flying a plane. You do not have to have signed up for a Hallmark subscription in order to be able to send these two Valentine's eCards.

Hallmark also has a coupon for you. Buy 1 Hallmark card, get 1 FREE. This is a printable coupon that you have to use in a Hallmark store, for a paper card. You cannot use it on their website.

Amtrak has a "Sweet Talk" Valentine that you can send to someone. Start by choosing ten, virtual, candy hearts from their selection. Next, fill in the form to let Amtrak know the email address of the person you want to sent it to. Off it goes!

Is their a Thornton's near you? Stop in on Valentine's Day from 5:00 in the morning until 10:00 in the morning. They will give you one FREE donut. This is being offered "one per customer".

Macy's has a FREE "Follow Your Heart" Valentine. This one also uses conversation hearts. Every time you send one of these eValentines, Macy's will donate $2.00 to the American Heart Association's "Go Red For Women" movement. You can either select a pre-made heart, or you can make one of your own. You will be asked to allow Macy's to connect to your Facebook page in order for you to create and send this Valentine.

Kmart has some really cute elephant Valentines. You can print them out for FREE. They come four to a page, so you will have to cut them in order to separate them. Save yourself the cost of buying your child a box of Valentines from the store, and send her to school with these, instead.

Victoria's Secret has a FREE eValentine that you can customize and send. Doing so enters you into a Sweepstakes where you could win a Costa Rican getaway for two, or a Victoria's Secret $50.00 gift card.

Someecards has lots of FREE Valentine's Day eCards for you to send. Keep in mind these cards are for Valentines who have a somewhat warped sense of humor, and that these are definitely not for kids!
