Tips for Tackling Black Friday and other Early Bird Salesby Sherry Holetzky | More from this Blogger If you don't know a lot about Black Friday, you can find more in the previous article, Ready for Black Friday? Even if you know and you're ready to go, you might find some of these tips helpful: Bring a Friend First of all, there's safety in numbers and secondly, you'll need the extra pair of hands. If you plan well, and know what you want from each store, one of you can head in one direction, as the other heads the other way with her shopping cart. You can grab two of everything and meet up at the checkout counter to divide the items so you each get one of everything you came for. Wear Comfy Clothes and Shoes As noted in the previous article, Black Friday and early bird sales are not for sissies. This is not the time for prancing around in high heels, girls! Get those sneakers on and get ready to hustle. When the doors fly open, you had better be ready to move. Fussy clothes and shoes are for lightweights, not for shop 'til you drop bargain hunters. It's a good idea to have pockets that snap or zip or bring a fanny pack to hold money or credit cards. Leave clunky handbags at home. They will slow you down. Take Care of Business This might seem elementary, but many people don't stop to think about it: Eat something and use the restroom before you head into a sale. You don't want to have to stop and wait in line for food or facilities when you could be shopping. You also don't want to leave your things unattended, which brings us to the next point... Watch Your Stuff People will snatch stuff right out of your shopping cart if you're not paying attention, especially when there is a limited number of available items. In fact, some people will try to snatch things right out of your hands! *Have fun and be careful when tackling these madhouse sales. I hope you get everything on your list, and get great some great deals too! Learn more about Sherry Holetzky Sherry Holetzky is a work at home mom and freelance writer.
