Super weekend for coupons!by Debbie Clark (DealDebbie) | More from this Blogger 30 Jul 2009 04:50 AM This is a super weekend for coupons in the newspaper. There will be two Smart Source inserts, a Red Plum, a P& G Brandsaver, and a special Kellogg's insert in some newspapers. This is certainly the week to buy extras. The Kellogg's insert will feature a rebate for $10 off ten products. Freecoupons.com is a good place to find a weekly pdf of insert coupons. You can also find a preview of what will be included at Taylortown Preview. This is a site that sells coupons for a handling fee. I'm not a fan of buying coupons, but Taylortown is a good place for doing your research, and they have links to printable coupons as well which bring in the advertising necessary to keep the site going. This week, there are a number of stores that will be tying their promotions into P&G. Look to see specials at CVS on products in the inserts, and generous ECB's coming back to you as well. Several grocery stores have had some incredible deals for shoppers. Kroger has had great interest with its buy 10 get $5 off promotion. This is one of those deals that takes on a life of its own. For example, buy ten products (using coupons, of course), get the $5 - go back and buy ten more products, using coupons and the $5, get another $5, go back and buy ten more, etc. Kroger had a special price on AMP energy drink this week - it was $1.50. This was a great opportunity to stock up on it, since there are tearpad displays that feature coupons for $1 off one or two. So, if you bought 10 cans of Amp for $15.00, but used the tearpad coupons on each and the $5 coupon, you got a great deal. Giant Eagle also has some great promotions going on. They will load your loyalty card with an instant $2 in savings. Go to their website and find out how. I love e-coupons, and how stores are using them! Albertsons is promoting Kraft products with yet another incredible rebate. If you buy $25 worth of the participating products, you will get a $5 coupon off your next purchase to print at the register, and you can send away for a $20 rebate. This expires 8/23/2009 and all purchases must be made in a single transaction. OF COURSE you will double this up with coupons. There are lots of ways to save out there - be sure you plan to save!
