Between this weekend and last weekend, you should have PLENTY of coupons to start you out if you are just entering the world of coupons and deals. The newspapers have been chock full of great coupons and deals. Find a convenient preview of this weekend's coupons in handy printable pdf form here.

This is the time for back to school offers, and there are many. Look at coupons.com for printable coupons on school items. In this week's newspaper, you will find coupons for post it notes, and lunchbox products. Keep checking the printable coupon sites for these. Walgreens, CVS, and Target all have back to school specials, with incredible prices. At Target, you can stack target coupons with manufacturer coupons. You can also use Target's coupons at some competing stores.

It appears to be pet weekend in the newspaper inserts on August 9. There are many coupons featured for Purina products, and Fancy Feast Cat Food. Also, look for great $5 coupons on Oster pet grooming items - clippers, nail grinders, and bathing kits. The dog and cat days of summer are certainly here.

There is a great deal at Walgreens this week which I wanted to share with you. Walgreens will have Axe products on sale 25% off. When you buy three, you get one movie ticket, buy 5 and you get 2 movie tickets. Save $1.50 on each with this printable coupon at Smartsource. Use your coupons from Red Plum 5/17 by August 9 - hurry, that is Sunday, the first day of the promotion - for $1.50 and $1.00 off.

Also at Walgreens, buy Colgate Total Enamel Strength Toothpaste for $2.99 and get a $2.99 register reward. Use your $1 coupon from this week's Smart Source insert, and you will profit by $1 on this deal.

Have you been to CVS yet this month? CVS has a great giveaway the first time you use your ECB card in August. You'll find a coupon for a CVS brand freebie at the bottom of your register receipt. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to what prints or why. I got a free bottle of aspirin. Other freebies in my area have been CVS batteries, toothbrushes, and chocolate bars. It's just for the first transaction on the card of the month - no more.

Don't you just love it when something is free - or better, when they pay you to take it away????
