I'm having a difficult time waiting until Mother's Day to give it to my mom. I know she's going to be thrilled, and I know she's going to cry (sorry in advance, Mom!). If you didn't get a chance to get in on that deal, you can pay full price for a photobook. Truthfully, it would be worth it. But maybe you're like me, and can't stand to pay retail for anything. If so, you might instead want to try this deal. Right now, photo cards are 50% off. They're very cool! Yes, if you're a scrapbooker or cardmaker, you could make something similar for less money. As a matter of fact, I encourage anyone who does scrapbook to go take a look to get some ideas. I decided to go ahead and pay (just a little) more for the convenience and the finishing from Photoworks. They have several pre- laid out cards where all you do is upload a photo and change the text (if you want; they already have sayings on them). I got the circular Mother's Day card for my grandmother. The one that I thought was the most clever was the "Actual Size Baby" card. It's four panels on the front that opens up into one 11" x 17" actual size baby on the back. What a clever birth announcement! At $3.95 apiece, many couldn't afford that. But for $2 apiece, it would make a wonderful gift for family and close friends.
