Pay Me To Take It Away!

You know how to save money using coupons. So how do you get to the sweet deals where you profit? When do they actually pay you to take it away?

When you combine savvy shopping with coupons and in-store rebates and free deals, then you have the potential for overage, or in more simple terms, PROFIT. Your profits from in-store rebates, catalinas, and promotions go right back into free food and products.

You can do that at Weis right now. Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks are $1 a box. Buy 4, and you get a $2.50 catalina. So here's how you do it: Buy 4 for $4.00. Use two .40 printables from Coupons.com. Use another two .40 printables from Smartsource.com. That brings your cost down to .80. You'll get the $2.50 catalina at the register to use on your next purchase.

So what if you don't use fruit snacks. Donate them to a local food pantry. You just pocketed $1.70 in free Weis merchandise.

Now, use that catalina. Weis has General Mills cereals on sale 3/$6. Great price! But wait - there's more. They'll give you a coupon for a free gallon of milk when you buy three, or two coupons for milk when you buy six or more boxes. So, here's how that one works:

Three boxes of cereal = $6 Minus Printable coupon $1/2 (Smartsource) Minus .55 printable coupon (Smartsource) Minus $2.50 Catalina Final Price $1.95. $1.95+.80=2.75 So for a grand total of $2.75, you get four boxes of Fruit Snacks, Three boxes of cereal, and a gallon of milk.

More and more, in-store rebates and catalinas are the way to save. You don't have to remember to submit a rebate, or track it by mail, or wait for the check.

Rite Aid is another store where the in-store promotions add up. By combining coupons with their single check rebate program, you can get many items free. And you can also profit by using the printable $5 off a $25 purchase from coupons.com BEFORE you submit for the single check rebate. Free stuff + $5. They paid you to take it away.

Rite Aid also has a new program which makes it easier for their shoppers to receive high value in store promotions. On www.riteaid.com, you can get these simply by watching product videos. Rite Aid also plans to expand their in-store coupon offerings.

Free stuff and a few dollars in your pocket - it's a good day!
