Before I got married, I shared an apartment with a roommate. She would let out a scream of delight and I'd come running every time the "What a Difference a Day Makes" commercials from C&R would come on. Does anyone else remember those? We bought a couple of shirts, some pants, a belt, and a tie. We got much more than that - we got an education.

The shopper knew what she was talking about. Since I have no sense of style whatsoever, it was a valuable encounter. I made notes and wrote down exactly what sizes he wears and which fits to buy. We went through his closet and took out everything that wasn't the right size, and donated it to the thrift shop. I've been slowly adding pieces as I find good deals. This is one of them.
