Freebies and Money Makers at CVSby Chantalle Altland | More from this Blogger 25 Jul 2008 06:34 AM In my last blog,CVS Extracare Rewards This Week, I showed ways to maximize your savings on the CVS ExtraCare Bucks with coupons from the store and other places. This week, CVS has also has several great Buy One Get One Free deals. I have matched these deals with coupons to show you the best way to get the items for free or at big discounts. Here's the BOGO's: Revlon cosmetics have coupons in a recent newspaper insert for $2.00 off any cosmetic product. Use two coupons for this BOGO deal to maximize your savings. The products start at $3.49. When you use 2 coupons at $2.00, both items will be free. There is also a CRT for $3.00 off one Revlon item.
Vive Pro shampoo has a coupon in the 7/13/08 Smart Source flyer for a $1.00 off. The Hydra Gloss, which is also a BOGO, has a BOGO coupon in the same Smart Source insert. That will make it free. The store promotion makes one free and the coupon makes the second free. All laundry soap is a BOGO. Combined it with 2 coupons from the recent Red Plum insert on 6/22/08 and increase your savings. There is also a $1.00 off printable coupon available. Colgate Advanced has a printable coupon in the Families.com coupon database for $1.50 off. Maybelline Great Lash Mascara has a printable coupon for $1.00 off. Don't forget to print 2. Don't forget to present 2 coupons for each BOGO deal. You are allowed to present one coupon per item you are purchasing if the coupon is for a single item. If you have trouble presenting coupons, ask to speak to the manager. Sometimes cashiers are not properly informed.

I have ask for the manager next time and maybe that will help! Chantalle Altland (3159) 25 Jul 2008 10:15 AMIt's hard dealing with CVS sometimes. Each store manager has a different opinion of how coupons should be handled. I have made it very clear to my managers that I do not have a problem going to another store if I can't use the coupons. Fortunately, I live in an area that has lots of stores. If they have to ring up the item, then we should be allowed to use a coupon on it. They are supposed to accept manufacturer and CVS coupons for the same transaction. I give them the CVS coupons and then the manufacturer coupons so that my total is still high enough to accept the CVS. I hope this helps.
