The best things in life may not be free, but there sure are a lot of great freebies around for those who are paying attention! By signing up for various offers, and keeping your eyes and ears open for local promotions, you can score a lot of free things for your household.

Get a free sample of Olay Total Effects Body Wash here.

Once you join and log in, you can request free samples and coupons by mail for specific products from P&G Everyday Solutions. This is a good list to be on, something nice comes to your mailbox.

When you link your LeapFrog toy to the LeapFrog Learning path, you can get a free Board Book for your baby. Find out more here.

Get a free sample of Pampers Extra Protection Diaper from Walmart here.

Come to Target and bring this coupon for a free 8x10 Portrait and no sitting fees. You will of course have an opportunity to purchase additional photos. The coupon is here.

On Halloween, from 6 PM to Midnight, get a free Black Jack Taco from Tacobell. No coupon needed. This looks kind of yucky, but is probably quite good. A picture is here. It is a black taco.

And don't forget on Halloween to bring your child to Sears in costume for a free Mattel toy, while supply lasts. You might want to check with your local store about this one to avoid disappointment.

Don't forget the Free Bagel Fridays at Einstein Brothers Bagels. This reusable coupon expires 11/3/09. These franchise restaurants are becoming popular, and have coffee, and innovative bagels and pastries.

I love getting things for free in my mailbox, or cashing in on a good deal for a freebie. It's one of life's little pleasures which is becoming less of a luxury and more of a necessity.
