Free stuff for Labor Day and More

Happy Labor Day weekend! I hop you are enjoying this family weekend, and grilling up some savings. There are no coupon inserts this weekend. Usually there are no coupons published on Labor Day weekend, although there are plenty of ads for other types of shopping.

But that doesn't mean you are couponless. I have lots of news to share with you.

Walgreen's updates: You can get a great booklet at Walgreens. All coupons expire on 12/31/2009. These are all cold and flu items. Some are Walgreens coupons, some are manufacturer coupons. Featured brands include Theraflu, Airborne, Claritin, Alka Seltzer, Comtrex, Pedialyte, and others. There will also be a register reward beginning 9/27 for a $5 Register reward when you buy two participating Vics items. Look for coupons on these. They include Nyquil, Dayquil, Vaposyrup, and Vicks 44.

Look ahead to Walgreens Sept 13 flyer - you'll find that True North granola clusters are on sale for $3, and there is a $3 Register Reward. Now, you can print a $1 coupon for these at coupons.com and at smartsource.com. So, you'll have a $1 profit. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! Some of these have a red "Try Me Free" Sticker. So when you submit that, you'll have free snacks and up to a $4 profit!

You can print up to four coupons between smart source and coupons.com. This is an excellent time to stock up on this deal.

There are some new E coupons are up at UPromise. You can join Upromise and load these to your store loyalty cards. There are two coupons for Blue Bunny - $1 off one Aspen Frozen Yogurt Granola Bars and $1 off one Sedona Frozen Yogurt Granola Sandwiches. Load these onto your store loyalty card, and then download this form. Hurry - it is for a free Labor Day Aspen or Sedona item. You must make the purchase from Sept 5-7 and the receipt must be dated. You have up to 9/19 to send it in.

So let's see - I think that means a profit! You get it free and by using the coupon they have paid you to take it away!
