Disney "Crazy 5s" Sale - $5

How much for that beach towel? $5. How about those PJs? $5. That stuffed Minnie? $5. Yep, Disney is crazy about fives. Through May 6th, get a variety of items for only $5. Or choose other items and get $5 off. How do you top that? Flat rate shipping is only... yep, you guessed it, $5.

The majority of the $5 items are markdowns from $9.95, so they're basically half-price. The dolls and the plush are an even better bargain. They're up to two-thirds off. Still, $5.

We browse the Disney store when we're at the mall and often come across good deals. The beauty of this one is the $5 shipping in combination. It's the perfect time to send someone a gift across the miles. Postage has gotten very expensive through the post office. Depending upon what it is, it can actually be less expensive to have a gift sent directly from Disney rather than from your house. You could get Pooh, Tigger, Eyeore, Piglet, and Roo shipped for $30. The regular price to buy them in the store is $75.

What really interests me is the $19.95 beach towels marked down to $5. They have various Disney Princesses, Pirates of the Caribbean, and of course, Mickey. Swimsuit season is coming soon (I swear I just heard a collective gasp!) and I get really tired of taking the "old towels" to the beach. Yes, they work just as well as any other, but they're OLD. And they're UGLY. (Hey, I heard that!)

I'm too tight for most of the stuff in the $5 off category. $5 on $40 isn't enough for me, but the $5 off the already reduced merchandise IS a good deal. There's a very cute Hawaiian postcard sundress for $20 less $5. It's hard to buy the high quality cotton and pattern for that. Whatever you choose, you'll need to choose quickly. The Crazy 5s deal ends May 6.
