Diaper Deals

There are plenty of good deals coming up for you Diaper Divas - and if you are savvy you can turn some of money you spend on diapers into premiums and freebies.

For many years, Pampers has offered points on their packages. At one time, you could order big items with these. I remember getting a playpen for one of my sons who is now a college student, as well as some toys. The premiums are smaller now, but easier to save for, and you can do well. To find out more, visit the Pampers "Gifts to Grow" website. You'll find a points calculator for different products, and a catalog of items. The most attractive ones to me are the Starbucks $10 gift card for 110 points and the free Dreft coupon for 125 points. There's a Build a Bear Workshop $20 gift card for 210 points! With point values on packages from .5 points to 10.5 points, it seems like you buy a lot to gain a little - but if you shop wisely, using coupons and sales, the rewards just make it even better, especially since we know how you will go through diapers!

Huggies currently has a program to spend points on instant win games, and sweepstakes. Visit Enjoytheriderewards.com for more details. For my money, this is not as interesting as getting a premium, but some folks will find it interesting, especially if you like sweepstakes. They give you opportunities to earn points online by watching promotions.

Finally, Luvs has a new promotion starting soon. Beginning Sept 15, all visitors to www.luvs.com will be able to print a $5 coupon for Luvs. They are starting a new promotion featuring Marissa Jaret Winokur of "Dancing With The Stars" and "Dance Your Ass Off". They are also promising "No to pricey diapers". Look for some sales, price cuts, and promotions. And be sure to use coupons for additional savings!

I'm a veteran deal hunter with two grown sons. I have been clipping coupons and doubling up with rebates and sales and points rewards since they were babies.
