When he'd be in the shower, she'd throw his towel into the washer so that when he got out, he could snuggle up in a nice warm bath sheet. I don't mean when he was five - when he was fifteen. Something about a man and his towel. My husband uses the same one whenever he can. He says he can feel the difference. Except in the winter, I like to hang my clothes out to dry when I can. Yes, even here in rainy Washington it's possible to dry clothes on the line. I figure it saves me .35 per load. But that .35 isn't worth hearing about how scratchy the towels are! Personally, I find them invigorating, but Paul is more sensitive to touch. So I dry his in the dryer, no matter how warm it is outside. I really don't mind. I love to bury my face in the warm towels fresh out of the dryer, especially in winter. Yes, I'm easily amused and satisfied! It's one reason, though, that I buy 100% cotton towels. Those beach towels and other poly blends just don't do it for me. Yes, they last longer, but towels are one place I'm willing to spend just a little more. Right now, I don't have to spend extra.
