Instead, I find myself with more paperwork than ever. Between printing out instructions and audit forms for mystery shopping, printing extra math problems for the children, and keeping hard copy records, we go through a decent amount of paper every month. That doesn't even count what the kids are using for schoolwork, artwork, Elisha practicing his origami, or just doodling. I'm constantly picking up papers to toss, file, or send with DH to work. I wonder when, if ever, they'll discover that Daddy's special file at work for their drawings is a round file. "Use both sides of that!" "But Mom, it will show through on the other side." I'm definitely a frugal mama. I use junk mail for scratch paper, both sides of most paper, and have been known to erase things. HP's paper sale means that I can relax a little bit. Reams of 500 for .70 each means that each of those wonderful little pieces of possibility are less than a ha' penny apiece. That's cheaper than the eraser! This is part of HP's office printing deal. During April, a lot of their office supplies have been discounted, albeit none so drastically as the paper. The best part, though, is free UPS shipping. When you go to checkout, the first option is standard shipping (about $10 for me). But the second choice is free during the sale. Free is good! I like HP paper because it seems brighter and a little slicker. Usually, I don't like it so much that I'll pay more for it, though. However, even using Staples ink coupons, it would be difficult to beat this price. I'm trying to figure out how many reams I can realistically store. After further thought, I think this may actually be a clever marketing ploy. Selling paper very cheaply means that we'll all be stuck buying INK!
